    Hey there, Mom! 12-13 feet…that’s HUGE! I’d love to see pictures of it…sunflowers are one of my favorite plants. Often in the spring, you’ll see large swaths of land full of them in and around Santa Fe. They always make my day brighter. :)

    So good to see all those lovely pectures and you all having a good time. Saw a sunflower picture among others. Now listen to this!!!! Some time back a plant emerged in our garden. Looked like an odd ball among others. It took me some time to realize it was a sunflower plant as I saw few wild small plants with some flowers around neighborhood streets. But this one grew to be an amazing hight of 12-13 feet and last month was covered with hundreds of beautiful big sunflowers. I also took some pictures but my pictures can’t compete with its magestic view. It overshadowed the whole garden. Sadly the july heat has started to wither it now……
